Last 2009, the Supreme Court of the Philippines launched its Enhanced Justice on Wheels (EJOW) Program in the Province of Rizal. It aims to continue to provide access to justice for the indigent detention prisoners. Last April 1, 2016 the EJOW was set to visit the Rizal Province, particularly at the Hall of Justice of Morong, Rizal and the Bureau of Jail Management & Penology, Tanay, Rizal.
Jail Visitation at BJMP-Tanay was lead by the Deputy Court Administrator Raul Villanueva from the Supreme Court, Judge Sheila Marie Alaan-Ignacio from Branch 80 of Regional Trial Court and Judge Maria Josefina G. San Juan of Branch 78, of Regional Trial Court. Medical, Dental and Legal Consultations were conducted during the jail visit, all with the objective of extending a hand to the detention prisoners who are mostly in need of the same.
Meanwhile, present in the activity to support were Municipal Administrator Dr. Gabriel C. Piguing, the Legal Officer Atty. Amadeo R. Fulgado, the Rizal Dental Chapter Dentist, Doctors
and Nurses from Provincial Health Office and Rural Health Unit of Tanay & Pililla and the working committee from Municipal Trial Court.
Part of the successful execution is the Municipal Government of Tanay who hosted and rendered passionate participation headed by Mayor Rafael A. Tanjuatco together with the S.B. members and the BJMP Tanay headed by Sr. Inspector Montano A. Abarico Jr.
