Result from the conducted first ever Division DRRM Olympics 2016
In celebration of the National Disaster Consciousness Month (NDCM) with the theme
“Kandaan at Pagtugon sa Sakuna, Tungkunlin sa Bawat Isa”
DepEd Rizal conducted the Division DRRM Olympics 2016 at Taytay Elementary School, Taytay,Rizal yesterday July 28, 2016 from 8AM to 5PM. According to the Central Office of DepEd, this was the first ever DRRM Olympics held in the Philippines on the area of academe. The participants were elementary pupils and secondary students from the thirteen municipalities in the province of Rizal.
They have competed in different categories namely: DRRM Quiz Bee, Slogan Contest, Poster Making Contest and Bandaging and Transport of Patient Relay. For secondary level they have added the competition on Large Canvas Painting, Floatation Device Making and Fire Out Game.
As a result, the delegation of Tanay in secondary level won in the following categories:
