An annual project of the Municipal Government of Tanay through the Office of the Local Civil Registrar, aims to reach out to our constituents who cannot afford to pay for the expenses for a church and/or civil wedding, and those who are living out of wedlock.
Having the marriage certificate as a couple, this is the local government's best gift not just to the participants but also to their children as it will serve as a legal binding document for the family.
Last February 14, 2017, 90 couples began their road to forever through a romantic and exciting wedding. Pag-Ibig Fund, the local government's partner for this program, provided the hair dress, wedding ring, bouquet of flowers, and sumptuous meal for the newlyweds. Meanwhile, Mayor RM Tanjuatco and the Sangguniang Bayan headed by Vice Mayor Jimmy Vista brought in cakes for every pair and raffle prizes for lucky couples.
