The Municipal Government of Tanay, Rizal recently scored two key victories with two employees bagging regional and national awards.
Ms. Vickyflor Catapusan, Human Resource and Management Officer III, won First Runner-up in the 2015 Search for Best Human Resource Management Practitioner (HRMP) in Region IV. She received cash prize, certificate of recognition and entitlement to one training/seminar of the CSC Region 4 free of charge.
The awarding rites were held at Club Balai Isabel in Talisay, Batangas on May 13-15, 2015 during the 22nd Annual Conference of the Regional Council of Human Resource Management Practitioners (RCHMPs) in Region IV.
Meanwhile, this writer, the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer I for Research and Planning, won the top prize in the Proposed Theme and Essay Writing contest sponsored by the Office of the Civil Defense (OCD) led by Usec. Alexander Pama and the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) under Secretary of National Defense Voltaire Gazmin.
Flores’ winning theme entry was “Pamilya at Pamayanang Handa, Katuwang sa Pag-unlad ng Bansa,” which served as the official theme of the 2015 National Disaster Consciousness Month held the entire month of July.
