Last February 4, 2017 the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office started the month-long activity dubbed as Mass Dance: Let’s dance with the Mother Nature …” A Climate Change Awareness Project. It will be a sixty (60) minutes or an hour of mass dancing every 0630H-0730H at Tanay Park every Saturday for the month of February.
Activities include Basura Mo Palit Gamit Eskwela, Pataba sa Halaman, and Sabong Panlaba and Palit Load wherein recyclable wastes can be converted into the following through point system. Basuraffle, wherein, 1 kilogram of residual wastes such as any kind of plastics/thin film plastics, wrappers, metallic foils, shampoo sachets with foil, cigar palara, tetra packs, shampoo & laundry sachet, food wrappers, candy and biscuit wrappers etc can be converted into raffle tickets.
